Andrea began her professional journey as a raw food chef and instructor in 2007, when she became a student at Living Light Culinary Arts Institute under the tutelage of the "Mother of Gourmet Raw Vegan Cuisine," Cherie Soria, and Gourmet Raw Food Chef and Culinary Programs Manager, Martine Lussier, and earned her certification as a Raw Food Chef and Instructor. In the following two years, she honed her skills as a chef and instructor while teaching, coaching, speaking, catering and private cheffing in her home town of Wichita, KS. In January 2009, she returned to Living Light where she served as production chef, Assistant Manager, and Manager of the Living Light Cafe, as well as taught public outreach classes.
Andrea returned to her hometown in April of 2011 to embark upon a solo career of teaching, speaking and furthering her hometown raw community development. She is currently writing a 'Not-Cookbook', building a website, setting up classes and hosting educational dinner parties, in addition to raising the newest addition to her family, her four-month old daughter, Aya Rae.
